Don’t be sad or upset by reading this news. But I know that you cannot stop your emotions running out of your eyes in the form of water. Yes its true its 100 percent true. The time is gone when you were able to make Voip calls to India and make calls from India, The verdict is already out that All VoIP incoming and outgoing calls will be blocked in India.

The death of VoIP market is not so far as the basic reason given is that such internet calling services are a threat to Security of India. So yes we are now going to lose a lot on making calls. Once the ban is put in place the cost of calling will go as much as 10 cents per minute, The market of calling will be monopolistic as only few service providers will be providing calling at international destination. Also cheap international service providers such as Localphone, Tringme and Mymgo will reshuffle their prices to stay in competition.

The whole issue of banning VoIP in India seems to be a foolish act if the government is considering security as a basis for a ban. Rather I smell a selfish act to gain business and to loot the common people. If at all the anti Indian elements wants to connect then they can easily do it by using satellite phones. Also ban will encourage black marketing of VoIP Calling Services and cards as it happen in UAE where VoIP is banned. Aslo once the ban is enforced the telecom companies such as Reliance, Bharti, VSNL, BSNL will start minting money and leaving the common people with a big whole in their pocket.
